The stainless steels are popular due to their unique ability of auto-protection, combined with many additional characteristics, including resistance to corrosion, mechanical resistance and to great temperature variations.

The stainless steels are also hygienic; easy to be clean and their maintenance is very easy too. They can be easily joined when using common practices of boiling, welding, and also adhesive and mechanical methods. They are 100% recyclable, with a strong visual appeal (modernity, lightness and prestige). The relationship cost/benefit is very favorable and there is a low maintenance cost. They are offered with several chemical compositions, superficial finishes and dimensions to be used in several applications.

Applications of stainless steels: they were originally developed for applications where the main requirement would be the resistance to corrosion, but they are also being much used due to their aesthetic appeal and due to its hygienic conditions. Find here some main applications for the stainless steels:

Cutlery: applied in the production of silverware, tableware and pots.

Civil construction: used in architectural projects that includes things such as a simple handrail up to facade revetments. The stainless steel allows versatility in the decoration of atmospheres. It is very much used in sinks, vats and also applied in squares.
